During a ritual thanksgiving conducted on the beach each morning at dawn I was rewarded by the amazing sight that inspired this work. On completion I realised the configuration of swans formed a Hebrew letter in reverse. After consulting my Kabbala notes I discovered this letter was "Kaph" - which stands for the "open palm".
